GOD'S PROTOCOL

One night, as I was charting in the nurses' station, suddenly I smelled death. Then I saw an evil spirit going down the hallway carrying a black coat over his left shoulder. I got up and ran after him as he went into the last room on the left side of the hallway. He entered the room a few seconds before me, and as I entered, I saw that the first patient by the door was not breathing. I checked for a pulse and found none. It is our practice to follow the Advance Cardiac Life Support protocol, given by the American Heart Association. That night God was in charge, and He did not have to follow American Heart Association protocol! The patient had a telemetry (a device that monitors cardiac activity), and the electrical impulses of the heart are displayed on a central monitor in ICU.

I put both hands on the patient's chest and commanded him in the name of Jesus to come back. I said, “I breath the breath of life into your nostrils in the name of Jesus.” The intensive care unit was calling on the phone to tell me that the monitor was showing asystole, which is a straight line indicating no electrical impulses, or, in other words, cardiac standstill: a dead person. I could not answer the phone because I was praying. So they sent someone to check on that patient, and by the time they came through the door, the patient was breathing! The Lord reminded me that for some time I had been asking Him to give me the power to raise the dead. He also told me that CPR was His idea. He was the first one that formed man, and then breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and man became a living soul. So I answered the Lord, “Sir. You are also the first surgeon, and the first anesthesiologist, for your put Adam to sleep, and after doing a thoracostomy (an opening into the chest cavity), you took a rib and made a woman.” The Lord answered, “You got it!”

To continue with the story, I then brought my charting and sat by the revived patient, monitoring him and evaluating his condition for the possible need for a higher level of care. The Lord gave me His peace that he would be alright. I kept this incident hidden in my heart, and did not tell anyone. The next day I was in the medication room when I overheard a lady asking at the nurses' station if there had been a nurse with an accent working there the day before. I heard them laughing, “yes, her name is Simin.” The woman asked to speak to me and I met her at the nurse's station, only a few feet away from the medication room. She asked to speak to me in private, and then asked me if I was a Christian. I responded “yes.” She told me that the night before, at about 11:00 pm, she heard a hideous laugh, and then a voice telling her out loud: “Tonight I am going to take your husband.” She said, “I fell down on my knees, crying out to God to send a Christian doctor or nurse to help my husband. Today, my husband told me that he died last night and that Jesus told him to go back, saying ‘Your nurse is calling you back.' As he came back to life, he told me that he heard a nurse with a foreign accent praying for him.”

When that man got well, he became a Chaplain at our hospital, and continually testified that God raised him from the dead.

Would you allow Jesus to raise you up from bondage - from illness - from false pride and from worship of foreign gods or worship of man? Will you allow Him to release you from anything that has a grip on your life? Repeat this prayer: “Heavenly Father, forgive me for all of my sins. Lord Jesus come into my heart. Take charge over my life. I am tired of running my life. Thank you for dying for my sins. Thank you for giving me Eternal life.”
